		<description>Very interesting.  As something of a live fence fan, I will indeed be reporting more on what sorts of fencing I am seeing, along with where the ideas, technologies and seeds came from, and why it does or does not matter...

And, I did not know that the USDA still funded any overseas projects!  Likewise, very interesting!</description>

From my notes: funded by US Department of Agriculture “Food for Progress”
Legumes shrubs for livestock a project component.
20,000 planted in Kratie used the shrubs to replace fences with living hedges, leaves feed to livestock, plant survival 75%, zeucaenia variety purchased seed from battambang

The dried leaf 800 R/kg sold and can also be used for firewood and charcoal 

Stylosanthes broadcast along the road side in Thailand for livestock feed, seed bought  from Thailand</description>
